September Monthly favourites/ September Mánaðars uppáhalds

September was a good month. The weather was a bit rainy but not that cold and in the end of the month could you start to see that fall was coming. For the things I was using that month were some like every month that stood out more than others and so here I have put them together with the reasons why I picked them.

September var góður mánuður. Veðrið var soldið rigningarlegt en ekki svo kalt og í enda mánaðarins gast þú farið að sjá haustið að koma. Fyrir hlutina sem að ég var að nota þennan mánuð var sumt eins og hvern mánuð sem stóð meira út en annað og þannig að hér hef ég sett þá saman með ástæðuni afhverju ég valdi þá.

Make Up Store, Real techniques and OPI haul/kaup

There is/was a midnight opening at the Smáralind shopping center just today/night which mean that its open till midnight and they have lots of special offers like tax free make up in some stores. The shopping I did was with my friend and we had nice time. I only went to 2 stores but I think I bought enough for now.

 I went to Make Up Store first and they had the offer of buy 2 get 3 and I got myself 2 lipstick and my friend got a concealer so we used the offer together. Next I went to Hagkaup to buy some things because make up and other things were on a tax free price which means 20% off. I ended up with one nail polish, a brush set and a individual brush.

Það/var er miðnæturopnum í smáralind í dag/kvöld sem þýðir að það er opið til miðnætis og þau eru eru með sérstök tilboð eins og tax free málingar dót í sumum búðum. Kaupin sem að ég gerði voru með vinkonu minni og við höfðum góðan tíma saman. Ég fór bara í tvær búðir en ég held að keypti mér nóg í bili.

Ég fór í Make Up Store fyrst og þau voru að bjóða uppá keyptu 2 og þú færð 3 og ég keypti mér 2 varaliti og vinkona mín fékk sér hyljara svo við notuðum tilboðið saman. Næst fór ég í Hagkaup til þess að kaupa hluti því að málingar dót og aðrir hlutir voru á tax free verði sem þýður 20% af. Ég endaði upp með eitt naglalakk, busta sett og ein stakan busta.

Lips of the week #3/ Varir vikunar #3

 This week I went with a bright pink lip stain. It goes on watery but when it dries it thickens and sticks on the lips so well. It doesn't go of the lips when you drink so that's a good thing about it. When I bought it I knew I was going to use it a lot.

Þessa viku var ég með bjartan bleikan vara stain. Hann fer mjög vatnskendur á en þegar hann þornar þyknar hann og festist vel á vörunum. Hann fer ekki af vörunum þegar þú drekkur þannig það er góður hlutur. Þegar ég keypti hann þá vissi ég að ég mundi nota mikið.

Make up store haul/ Make up store kaup

Last Saturday I went to Make up store and bought some things there. There was a 20% discount of the whole for that day only so I did a little shopping. The products that I bought are things that I have been wanting and I was going to buy them at my next trip there anyway.

Seinasta laugadag fór ég í Make up store og keypti nokkra hluti þar. Það var 20% afsláttur af allri búðinni bara þann dag þannig ég verslaði smá. Vörunar sem að ég keypti eru hlutir sem að mér er búið að langa í og ég ætlaði hvor sem að kaupa þegar ég mundi fara þar næst.

A small YSL haul/ Lítil YSL Kaup

 There was a tax free weekend in Hagkaup last weekend and I treated my self little with some YSL products. The two thing I bought are there new foundation called Fusion Ink and Touche Eclat concealer or for undereye highlighing. I really wanted to try out this foundation and I have always love that concealer so I got it again. I got two samples with them, a mascara and a eyeliner.

Það voru tax fríir dagar í Hagkaup þessa seinustu helgi og ég áhvað að gera vel við mig með smá YSL vörur. Hlutirinr tveir sem ég keypti eru nýi farðinn þeirra sem heitir Fusion Ink og Touche Eclat  hyljari eða fyrir undirauga birtingu. Mig langaði virkilega til að prufa þennan farða og ég hef alltaf elskað þennan hyljara þannig ég fékk mér hann aftur. Ég fékk tvær prufur með þeim, mascara prufu og eyeliner prufu.

Trying out Make up store Ultra light foundation/ Prufa Make up store Ultra light foundation

 The Ultra light foundation from Make up store is a new product from them (or at least were I live) and what I have read about it is that it's a thin and light foundation that is perfect for people who aren't much for the BB or CC creams.

Ultra light foundation frá Make up store er ný vara frá þeim (eða allavena þar sem ég bý) og það sem ég hef lesið um hann er það að þetta er þunnur og léttur farði sem að er fullkominn fyrir fólk sem að eru mikið fyrir BB eða CC krem.

Lips of the week #2/ Varir vikunar #2

 These lips of the week are two things, a bright pink lipliner and a warm pinky/purple with purple shimmer. I think the combo fits very well together making a special color. Ever since I got these I have been wearing these together on and off and also separately. I think this lip look can be worn anytime of the year and give you that extra thing to your normal everyday make up.

Þessar varir vikurnar eru tveir hlutir, bjart bleikur varablýanur og heitur bleik/fjólublár með fjólubláir sanseringu. Mér finnst þetta sett passa mjög vel saman sem verður að sérstökum lit. Frá því að ég fékk þessa hef ég verið með þessa á saman af og til og líka sem sitthvort. Mér finnst þetta vara lúkk geta verið notað hvenar sem er á árinu og gefur þér þennan extra hlut í þína venjulegu hversdags förðun. 

FOTD: Fall makeup/ Haust förðun

 The face of the day is a look with dark red lips and taupe colored eyeliner. I was feeling a bit fall-y today and I really wanted to wear this gloss.

Andlit dagsins er lúkk með dökkrauðum vörum og taupe litaðan eyeliner. Mér leið smá haustlega í dag og mig langaði virkilega að vera með þennan gloss.

August monthly favourites/ Ágúst mánaðar uppáhalds

Here I have a few things that I liked this month. My make up was not the same all the time but these things were used a lot this past month.

Lips of the week/ Varir vikunar #1

 This is the first post of a thing that I want to do weekly. I want to post a weekly lip favourite and my thought on why I liked it. One of the things I like to try out the most are lip product so this is a perfect thing for me to write about.

The thing that I picked this week is a lipstick by Make Up Store called Pretty baby. The lipstick is a pale pink and comes out true to the color in the tube. The color is matte and because of that is a little bit drying on the lips but that can be fix by a lip balm or a lip primer, also because it's matte the color stay on great.

Þetta er fyrsta póstið af hluti sem að mér langar til að gera vikulega. Mig langar að gera vikulegt póst af uppáhalds varar/lip vöru og segja mínar skoðarnir af afhverju mér líkar við hana. Eitt af hlutunum sem að mér líkar mest að prufa eru vörur fyrir varirnar þannig þetta er fullkominn hlutur fyrir mig til að skrifa um.

Hluturinn sem ég valdi þessa viku er varalitur frá Make Up Store sem heitir Pretty baby. Varaliturinn er ljósbleikur og kemur út trúr litinum sem að er í túbuni. Liturinn er mattur og útaf því er hann smá þurkandi á vörunum en það er hægt að laga með varaselva eða vara primer, líka afþví að liturinn er mattur þá helst hann á vel.
  

End of summer inspired make up/ Sumarlok förðunar innblásur

As this is the last day of my summer vacation I decided to do my make up inspired by the end of summer. This is the out come of it and I'm happy with it. I feel like the coloring is like when the sun is seting and the sky is pink and purple. I really like the sky when its like that.

Útaf því að það er seintast dagur sumarfrísins míns áhvað ég að gera förðunina mína með innblástri af enda sumarsins. Þetta er það sem kom útúr því og ég er mjög ángæð með það. Mér finnst eins og litirnir eru eins og þegar sólinn er að setjast og himinninn er bleikur og fjólublár. Mér virkilega líkar þegar himinninn er svoleiðis.

Moomin mugs haul /Múmínálfa bolla kaup

 I wanted to share these mugs that I bought. The mugs have characters are from a cartoon called Moomin which I watch a lot when I was a little kid. The mugs are well crafted and I hope I will have then for many year without breaking.

Mig langaði að deila þessum bollum sem ég keypti. Bollarnir eru með karekterina úr teiknimyndinni Múmínálfunum sem ég horfði mikið á þegar ég var lítil. Bollarnir eru vel gerðir og ég vona að ég muni eiga þá lengi án þess að brotna.

Trying out YSL Kiss&Blush/ Prufa YSL Kiss&Blush

The YSL Kiss&blush is a product that I have been hearing about a lot, I ended up buying two and see if they are a good product. The colors that this come in are all beautiful and you can find the perfect color for yourself. I bought these two, a pretty orange color(4) and a bright pink color(5), the reason why I picked these two is because I wanted colors that I didn't have.

YSL Kiss&blush er vara sem að ég er búin að vera að heyra mikið um, ég endaði á því að kaupa tvo og sjá hvort þau eru góð vara. Litirnir sem að þetta kemur í eru allir fallegir og þú getur fundið fullkomnan lit fyrir þig sjálfan. Ég keypti þessa tvo, fallegan appelsínugulan lit(4) og bjartan bleikan lit(5), ástæðan akkuru ég valdi þessa tvo liti er afþví að ég langaði í liti sem að ég átti ekki.

July monthly favourites/ Júlí mánaðars uppáhalds

Now that July has past I thought about want I used/liked that month and there were some things that stood out from the rest or just some things I just grabbed more. July was not a very summery month here in Iceland. It rained a lot and so little sun.

Icelandic:
Núna að því júlí mánuður er búin hugsaði ég um hvað ég notaði/líkaði þennan mánuð og það voru sumir hlutir sem hlutir stóðu út frá restini eða bara sumir hlutir sem ég greip meira. Júlí var ekki mjög sumarlegur mánuður hér á Íslandi. Það ringdi mikið og svo lítil sól.

Hairchalking/ Hárkríta

I always like trying different colors in my hair and using art chalk is an easy way to do it. I used a bright blue and a dark purple. I think it comes out great and I think I might do it more often . If you was to try out some colors that are not permanent then this is a fun way to do it.

Mér finnst alltaf gaman að prufa allskonar liti í hárið mitt og að nota teikni krít er einföld leið til þess. Ég notaði bjartan bláan og dökk fjólubláan. Mér finnst þetta hafa komið vel út og ég held að ég muni gera þetta oftar. Ef þér langar til prufa einhverja liti sem að er ekki fastir þá er þetta skemmtileg leið til þess.

Baking kind of a day/ Svokallaður bökunar dagur

I wanted to bake something yesterday and ended up baking rice crispy cakes and pink cupcakes with light purple icing. I had a lot of fun doing it by my self even though it took half of the day. I took some photos of the baking and what came of it and I wanted to share it.

Icelandic:
Mig langaði að baka eitthvað í gær og endaði upp að baka rice crispy kökur og Bleikar bollakökur með ljóst fjólubláu kremi. Ég hafði mjög gaman af því að gera þetta einn jafnvel þótt að það tók hálfan daginn. Ég tók nokkrar myndir af bakstinum og hvað koma af því og mér langaði til þess að deila því.

Frank scrub/ Frank skrúbb

I ordered this scrub called Frank online and it came very quickly. The scrub is for the body and is made with coffee. I am excited to try it.

Ég pantaði þennan skrúbb sem heitir Frank á netinu og hann kom mjög fljótt. Skúbbið er fyrir líkaman og er búin til með kaffi. 

Trying out new eyeliners/ Prufa nýja eyelinera

Recently I bought my self two eyeliners when I went shopping with a friend. Both are From the brand Bourjois, One is called Mega liner which I have been wanting and the other Erasable liner which I saw and thought it looked interesting.

I have been trying them both out and seeing if they are good or not.

Nýlega keypti ég mér tvo eyelinera þegar ég fór að versla með vinkonu minni. Báðir eru frá fyrirtækinu Bourjois, einn heitir Mega liner sem að mér er búin að langa í og hinn Erasable liner sem ég sá og fannst hann áhugarverður.

Ég er búin að vera að prufa báða og sjá ef þeir eru góðir eða ekki.

In mid June I went to London with my mom and bought a lot of make up, all of the things I picked for this month are from that trip. From all of the things I got these are the thing I used/liked the most.
