Makeup brush cleaning (how to)(organize)

One of my favorite things about makeup are my tools, they help you apply makeup in different way and often makes it easier. Taking care of my brushes is a big part of making them work correctly. I wash my brushes at least once a week and spot clean then in between. I keep my dirty brushes in a special glass to not be confused about if its dirty or not.

How to:

I wash my brushes with not to hot water. I make sure I wash with the brush facing down so does not water go into the brush (if water goes in it looses up the glue holding the hairs together). I use a  shampoo that doesn't have anything that can make you have a allergic reaction to the brushes( I use to use baby shampoo but you can grown allergic reaction to it so I stopped). After the wash I place then on a towel with a bit of incline so the water doesn't go in the brush. I usually do this before I go to sleep and let the brushes dry over night.

after there dry I put then in my brush holder (jar and stones from ikea) if Im not using then right way.

eye brushes in one and face brushes in one.

I hope you liked this post :)

until the next time :D
